I went to taiwan during those days as stated up there ^
And frankly it wasnt bad!
Other than the part where my family had tiffs!
We stayed in Taipei, Ferrary Hotel.
All the buildings there were all so musty looking and covered with moss due to the damp temperature there as it was near winter!
I love cold weathers but the sight of moss on beautiful buildings grosses me out :( EWWWWWWW
But i had to say, their service there, especially those small stalls, were great!
They were all so kind and friendly(:
Note to self: Please bring water bottle out along to eat cuz they dont sell drinks.
Im serious!
They sell you food and food ONLY.
Some provide drinks for free like plain water or tea but most of em dont :(
Also, the people there are so eco-friendly!
And it makes me happy^^ Even tho i still do wish to have air con! :B
If you want plastic bags you actually had to pay for it.
YEAP, unlike SG's wednesday then pay. LOL
OH OH! and their playgrounds are like, in th middle of a junction (ROAD)
WTH? What if a kiddo runs out? Ouch.
The food there was great. I love the sweet red thingy im eating below in the picture.
Also love their Ah Zong Mee Sua and Ru Rou Fan ^^
Love the fried rice at Sun Moon Lake :D
No wonder people say that you should eat in Taiwan.
TOTALLY MAN.
I actually tried Smelly Tofu. *Refer to my mum's face while eating it in pictures below*
I thought it didnt smell that bad actually :O
But when i had a taste of it, OH GOSH IT WAS TORTUROUS
It felt like rotten garbage in my throat and the after taste was so bloody disgusting.
ARGH, not my thing.
I guess i would love their breakfast there tho, its all so fantastic!
Even their bread! The toast was chewy and thick! Fluffy when not toasted!
But as we went on our own w/o a tour guide, we were bound to see some of the unglams of the country, even tho we stayed for only a short period of time, in the capital.
Yupp, we met loads of beggars and homeless old people who slept in the cold streets.
It was heart breaking. There was even a man rummaging in the rubbish bin for leftover food.
My dad bought him a pau and he thanked us but asked for money too.
Its pathetic that he even gave up his dignity.
OK, shall not dwell too much and make this any much of a wordy post....even tho it alrdy is :(
Sorry! :(
PS: i bought my Prom Stuffs in Taiwan! :D
Ending the post w a photo of me and bro sleeping like logs ^^
