Deepavali : Day out with family

I didn't go over to Mdm Paris's house cuz it was a family day since my dad had no work~

So early in the morning... Or afternoon... We went to Chong pang and had porridge for Breakfast.

Bought some fruits and they were super cheap!
20cents for a pineapple! Can you believe it! I mean like, how do they even earn anything selling at such a low rate!

Then we headed over to Ikea cuz my dad wanted to check it out since he hadn't been there before. Believe me, my family and I are road idiots. Ask me what's IMM's location or smth, I have absolutely no idea. So yeah, we headed there and had a walk (:

Dad was impressed with the prices of the products as they were cheap so we bought quite a number of stuffs.

I had wanted a potted cactus! It was so pretty, with a bright red bulb on top of the stalk... Covered with thorns of course. What's a cactus without thorns lol. Anyway, it's only 1.90 and require little amount of water; lots of sun.
As my study table is just right beside my window, it'll be a perfect place for my new cactus pet. So then I was super thrilled cuz it's perfect for a lazy owner like me hahaha!

But my dad picked another pot which was nice and very lady like with small little pink flowers here and there and also requires little water. It also required little sunlight and its only 1.90! So I accepted that one cuz it wasn't bad at all~

Unfortunately, along came my mum who insisted it was trash. Bummer. She said grandma had a lot of these in Msia so it was a waste of money. But looking down at the cart filled w pots and pans, and my mind wondering off to our kitchen also filled with pots and pans, I wonder if she sees that irony.

So there goes my lil pet :(
Sigh...
Had lunch in Ikea and then bought stuffs and headed home. Went for a cycle w dad and then that concluded our day(:

Dad was in a really happy mood that there was no work that day. Boy, I don't wish to be as stressed out as he is in future:/
